ARE YOU INSURED AND DO YOU AND DO YOU HAVE ALL THE CERTIFICATES MY VENUE WILL NEED?
We have an excellent PA system, and basic stage lighting for atmosphere. We also have a disco ball for our unmanned disco, and a smoke machine that can be used if you wish (smoke machine subject to venue regulations)
HOW LONG IS YOUR SETUP TIME

It depends on whether you’re booking an acoustic set (just instruments) or whether you’re booking one of our lineups that requires our PA system. Acoustic setups can take minutes. We’re very good at tuning up quickly and being ready to go in about 5 minutes! If you’re looking at a PA system setup then it’s somewhat longer. Usually we like to have an hour to setup, but it’s always good to have as much time as possible to make sure we can soundcheck and have our band sounding perfect for you!

CAN ANYONE TAKE PART IN A CEILIDH? DO WE NEED TO BE SCOTTISH OR IRISH?
Anyone at any level can take part in our ceilidhs. Our caller is fabulous at teaching people from scratch. Most our clients have always come back saying that the learning process was just as fun as the main part of the dancing! It’s interactive and fantastic for getting guests at your party to mingle!
HOW MUCH IS IT GOING TO COST ME?

Every event is different, so we’ll need to talk to you first to guage what a fair price will be. If you’re booking during the week then prices tend to be lower as you’re not hosting an event in peak times (Saturday Night is peak times). We need to take into account each musicians fee, plus travel, plus booking fees for the event. After all, it costs a lot to keep this band website running and making sure we’re fully insured for your event! We will however always look to make it work for you.
